Add in App Notification System
Notifications Feature – NEON
We have introduced a new Notifications feature in Neon, allowing Admin users to view all system alerts and important messages directly from the interface. This feature ensures that important updates are easily accessible and improves communication within the system.
Purpose
With the Notifications feature:
- Users will be able to view all system notifications and important messages by clicking the bell icon in the header.
- A View All Notifications button will allow the user to open a dedicated page to see the complete list of notifications.
Viewing Notifications
Step 1 – Accessing the Notification Badge
- Locate the bell icon in the top beside Cronjob.
- A red dot will be displayed to indicate unread notifications.
Step 2 – Opening the Notification Dropdown
- Click the bell icon.
- A dropdown panel will appear displaying:
- A list of 5–10 recent notifications.
- Each item showing:
- Short title
- Timestamp
- A brief message
Step 3 – Viewing a Notification
- In the dropdown, click on the notification you want to view.
- A popup will open showing the full message.
Step 4 – Viewing All Notifications
- In the dropdown, click the View All Notifications button.
- A new page will open, showing the complete list of notifications.
