How to Export Invoices for Sage
Exporting your invoices to Sage is a straightforward process within the Neon billing system. Follow these steps to generate your export file:
Navigate to the Invoices Section
From the main dashboard, use the left-hand navigation menu:
- Click on Billing.
- Select Invoices from the sub-menu.
Select the Invoices to Export
Once you are on the Invoices page:
- Browse the list of invoices.
- Select the checkbox next to the specific invoice(s) you wish to include in your Sage export.
Initiate Sage Export
- Click the Action button located at the top right of the invoice list.
- From the dropdown menu, select Sage Export.
Confirm Invoice Status Change
A pop-up window will appear asking: "Do you want to change the status of selected invoices to Paid?"
- Click OK if you want the system to automatically mark these invoices as paid upon export.
- Click Cancel if you want to export the data without changing the current status of the invoices.
Download and Review the File
The system will process the request and automatically generate an Excel file (usually named InvoiceSageExport.xls).
The exported file contains detailed information formatted for Sage, including:
- AccountNumber
- DueDate
- GoodsValueAmount
- Currency
- NominalCode
- TaxCode
- TaxAmount
